Trigg T. Davis, senior partner, is a 1970 graduate of Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, California, where he was the editor of the Journal of International Studies. From September of 1970 to April of 1972, he served as law clerk to Chief Justice Boney of the Alaska Supreme Court.  In private practice since 1972, Trigg has developed an extensive estate planning and probate practice.  He has served as the State Chairman of the American College of Trust and Estate Council, State Chairman of the Alaska Supreme Court Standing Rules Committee on Probate Rules, Chairman of the Alaska Bar Association Probate Committee, a Fellow and former State Chairman of American College of Trust and Estate Council, State Liaison for National Association of Elder Law Attorneys as well as a member of the AEPC.

 
 

Trigg has substantial experience representing both individuals and institutions in probate matters before the courts in Alaska.  He has also served as a mediator at the request of the Superior Court for the State of Alaska and is listed in Who's Who in American Law. Trigg is licensed to practice in Alaska and California.

   
 

Deborah H. Randall has been with the firm since June of 1987.  A Phi Beta Kappa, she earned her Jurist Doctor in 1985 from the University of Utah.  She has extensive experience in all areas of estate planning, estate gift taxation, probate and elder law.  She works directly with clients and other estate planning professionals to complete the estate planning process from implementation to administration through distribution.  Deborah frequently lectures on various topics in the fields of estate planning and probate before various civic and professional organizations.  She is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council and is currently working with the legislature to revise the living will statute and implement a health care power of attorney statute. Deborah is licensed to practice in Alaska.

C. James (Jamie) Mathis, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, is a 1984 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado.  Jamie joined the firm in 1996 and for a brief time in 2004 worked as the Land Use Attorney for the Municipality of Anchorage Department of Law.  Jamie’s areas of practice include real estate, zoning, land use, partnership law, business formation, contracts, probate and estate planning.  Jamie is licensed to practice in Alaska.
